Why a Hybrid Mattress?

We often hear about so many mattress types, but what exactly is a hybrid mattress? Hybrid mattresses aim to combine new and old technology to give you the best night’s sleep. Hybrid beds include both memory foam and innerspring coils. They are best known for temperature regulation and providing solid pressure relief and support.

The Allwell Luxe Hybrid Review

The Allswell Luxe Hybrid mattress has the same build as their original Allswell hybrid, but with several key premium features. The Luxe Hybrid offers 6 sizes to choose from, ranging from $445 to $845. For a standard queen, it weighs about 90 pounds and retails for $675, which is an awesome value compared to the average price of other hybrids, which is about $1,500. Overall, the Luxe Hybrid measures at 12” and a box spring is not necessary, as it offers tons of support on its own.

All Allswell products ship free within the United States on orders over $35.The shipping and delivery of the mattress was seamless and quick. The mattress is delivered in a box, which is quite standard nowadays and includes a little pamphlet about the brand. The set up was very easy; I simply took the mattress out of the box, carefully cut the plastic around it, and watched it expand to its final form on the bed frame.

The overall look of the mattress is very modern and minimal. It features a white plush top and a gray trim all around. The Allswell brand name is stitched very well on the side of the bed and looks really good. Upon first lay, I immediately noticed the support the mattress had. On the Allswell website, the Luxe Hybrid is measured at a medium-firm level. It feels like a good in-between. It does not have a sinking in feeling that would compromise back support for me. Being a back sleeper and sometimes side, I really liked the feel of the memory foam and it was nice to feel an overall support from the coils. I found that there is consistent support on every surface of the bed, including edge support.

Key Features

  1. Base Layer
Individually wrapped coils provide minimal motion transfer and edge support on all sides.
  2. Transition Layer
1” layer of high-density foam to provide added support.
  3. Comfort Layer
2” layer of copper-infused memory foam to destroy microbes and provide relief for joints and muscle pain.
  4. Cover
The Allswell Signature Quilted Cover with cooling Swirlfoam, a plush quilted top panel that allows air to circulate, providing a cooler night’s sleep.

Whether you sleep alone or have a partner that has the opposite sleeping style as you, the Luxe is a perfect choice for all sleeping positions. The memory foam layers help relieve pressure points and coils provide the bounce for enhanced support.

Final Thoughts

The Allwell Luxe Hybrid Mattress is our top choice for the best premium mattress on a budget. It looks good and feels great, featuring 12” dense memory foam and coil combination. The Luxe Hybrid is a great option for all sleeping positions. If you are looking for a solid bed with great edge support and minimal motion transfer, you don’t have to look any further, the Luxe Hybrid has it all and more with an affordable price tag.
