Joining a beauty rewards program is a great way to earn points and unlock benefits for purchases you’re already making. Whether it’s a discount on products or exclusive access to sales and VIP events, signing up for a program is a no-brainer. Especially considering that many of these beauty rewards programs are completely free to join!
But there are tons of beauty retailers out there, each one with its own loyalty program and membership benefits. For this reason, it can be confusing to know which one offers the best value in terms of rewards. But don’t worry, because we’ll discuss the top beauty rewards programs to help you decide which one to sign up with!
Best Beauty Rewards Programs to Use
Ulta – Ulta Beauty Rewards
Ulta is one of the biggest beauty retailers in the country. If you plan on buying any skincare, haircare, or beauty products, then you’ll want to sign up with Ulta Beauty Rewards.
With over 42 million members, their rewards program allows you to earn points that you can use toward future spending. Every dollar equals one point, but the more you earn, the bigger the discount. For example, those who spend at least $500 a year get bumped to their Platinum program, where you’ll earn 1.25 points per dollar. And if you spend $,1200 a year, you’ll earn 1.5 points per dollar with their Diamond program.
Additionally, all members get 2x points during their birthday month as well as a free birthday gift. These alone make signing up with Ulta Beauty Rewards worth it!
Membership costs: Free
Sephora – Beauty Insider
There’s a reason why Sephora is one of the best beauty shops in the world. Not only do they carry pretty much every beauty brand we love (like Fenty Beauty), but they also have a fantastic rewards program for members.
The Beauty Insider loyalty program lets you earn points for all your purchases ($1 = 1 point). You can then spend those points in the Rewards Bazaar on a variety of mini and full-size products. They update the Rewards Bazaar twice a week, so it’s always good to check what new fun products they drop! Members also get free standard shipping, birthday gifts, seasonal savings events, and end-of-year discounts.
If you spend more than $350 a year, you’ll be upgraded to their VIB status. This means greater seasonal saving discounts, point multiplier events, and exclusive gifts. Those who spend more than $100 a year can join Rouge which comes with even more benefits and better discounts.
Membership costs: Free
Nordstrom – the Nordy Club
The Nordy Club gives members exclusive rewards for everything they buy at Nordstrom. This includes beauty products as well as clothing, shoes, homewares, and accessories! Every time you shop, you’ll earn points that you can spend toward Nordstrom Notes (1 point per $1, ex: 1,000 points = $10 Nordstrom Note).
You can earn even more if you open up a Nordstrom credit or debit card, as cardholders earn 2 points per $1. And if you spend a certain amount per year ($500 for Influencer status or $5,000 for Ambassador status), you’ll earn 3 points per $1.
Besides Nordstrom Notes, members also get free 2-day shipping, beauty perks, and exclusive shopping opportunities. You can earn points in-store and online at both Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack.
Membership Costs: Free
Neiman Marcus – InCircle
It’s no surprise that a high-end department store like Neiman Marcus also has a high-end beauty rewards program! But unlike other programs on this list, joining the InCircle Club requires you to have a Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman store credit card. Once approved, you’ll automatically earn InCircle points on every single one of your purchases (2 points per $1).
When you reach 10,000 points, you’ll get a $100 point card to use for shopping. Cardholders who make a purchase within the first 30 days of membership will earn an instant 5,000 points too!
The InCircle Club also has different membership tiers depending on how much you spend each year. There are eight tiers (Circle One to Circle Six, President’s Circle, and Chairman’s Circle), and each comes with different perks and benefits. For example, Circle Three members get free 2-day shipping and gift packaging, while Circle Six members get a $100 perk card and a personal concierge.
Keep in mind that opening up a credit card does have its risks as it can contribute to financial debt. Make sure to review the terms and interest rates before signing up.
Membership: Must have a Neiman Marcus or Bergdorf Goodman credit card (no annual fee).
Beauty Pie – Beauty Pie+ Membership
While Beauty Pie doesn’t have a rewards-based program per se, they do have an awesome membership program for frequent buyers. When you sign up, you’ll get awesome member-only deals on hundreds of their high-end products. This can be up to 70% off the normal retail price if you were to shop without the Beauty Pie+ membership.
Members also get exclusive offers and discounts throughout the year, and free shipping on any orders over $40. As an added bonus, Beauty Pie also sends you a full-size welcome gift on sign-up, which is a huge perk in our opinion! And on your Beauty Pie anniversary each year, you’ll also get your choice of a full-size product.
Not sure if the cost is worth it? Right now, they have a free 60-day Beauty Pie+ trial that you can cancel anytime.
Membership costs: $4.95 per month (billed $59 annually)
