Appetizer: Easter Salad
One of our favorite Easter dinner menu ideas is to start out with an appetizer like this Easter Salad. To make this, you will need the following ingredients:
-300 grams of salad
-300 grams of oranges
-250 grams of apples
-30 grams of walnuts
-180 grams of feta cheese
For the dressing, you’ll need:
-10 grams of tahini sauce
-juice of half a lemon
-salt
Now, let’s get into how to make this salad. First, you’ll want to grab a knife and a cutting board so you can chop up all the ingredients.
Once they are all chopped, place the ingredients in a bowl, mix, and add the walnuts at the end. Next, you’re going to make the dressing, which is very easy. All you’ll do is combine all the dressing ingredients together, stir, and then add to the salad. Finally, serve the salad on appetizer plates and top it with more walnuts.
Main Course: Vegan Carbonara Pasta
The best dinner ideas for Easter always include a mouth-watering main course. This vegan carbonara pasta will satisfy every guest at your table! This recipe is for two portions, but feel free to double it as needed!
You’ll need the following ingredients:
- 175 grams of smoked tofu
- 15 grams of chickpea flour
- 210 ml of vegetable milk (oat milk is a great option as well!)
- Salt and pepper
- 200 grams of spaghetti
- 10 grams of cooking oil
To include this recipe as part of your Easter dinner menu ideas, follow these steps:
You’ll begin by cutting the smoked tofu into small pieces. In the meantime, boil some water in a large pot and add 10 grams of salt. While waiting for the water to boil, you’ll go ahead and fry the tofu in a pan with cooking oil until it is crispy. Set it aside.
Once the water is boiling, add the spaghetti and cook. After ten minutes, drain the pasta. Next, blend together the vegetable milk and chickpea flour in a blender until smooth. Add the mixture to a pan and cook on medium-low heat until it thickens, stirring continuously with a spoon.
Finally, add pepper to the pan and stir in your pasta on medium heat. Finish by adding the crispy tofu to the pan.
Dessert: Chocolate Mousse
The last thing you’ll need is a dessert! Many people opt for carrot cake, but if you’re not a fan, there are other options. It’s even perfect if you’re trying to create a vegetarian Easter dinner.
You can’t ever go wrong with a simple chocolate mousse. This one is so easy to make and is for two portions. Again, feel free to double the recipe!
You’ll need:
- 150 grams of dark chocolate
- 176 ml of water
- Sprinkles
This recipe couldn’t get easier! You’ll start by grossly chopping the dark chocolate and putting it in a pot, and melting it at medium heat.
Once the chocolate is melted, add in the water and whisk it together until smooth. Then, leave your mixture in the fridge for thirty minutes. Once the time is up, use an electric beater to whisk it until the mixture thickens up. Serve and top with sprinkles!
