Our Homemade Sorbet Recipes
1. Sweet and Healthy Sorbet Recipe
This first healthy sorbet recipe is refreshing light and full of fresh raspberry flavor, with only 14g of carbs and a total of 155 kcal per serving. It’s also packed with anthocyanin, which boasts antioxidant power so you can stay fit and healthy all summer long. The raspberries are anti-inflammatory, anti-viral, and anti-cancer causing, so you can feel great about what you’re putting in your body!
It’s great for kids, or really anyone craving a refreshing and creamy berry-flavored dessert.
Ingredients:
- 600g frozen raspberries
- 120ml whipped cream
- 8 tsp powdered sugar
Instructions:
- The first part of learning how to make sorbet is to get the creamy texture right. We’ll start by whipping the cream (it’s possible to use a whisk, but the results are much better when using a hand mixer).
- Gradually add the powdered sugar to the cream.
- Toss in the frozen raspberries.
- Once everything is mixed, put the entire creamy mixture into your food processor. You can also use a juice outfitted with a sorbet filter like we are using.
- Blend until everything is evenly mixed and smooth.
- Place the sorbet into a cup or bowl and garnish with a few extra berries.

2. Anti-Aging Wonder
We already love this delicious sorbet recipe just from the name itself. Made with a mixture of fruits (banana, lemon, and goji berries) and almonds, this sorbet has many health benefits. It’s high in potassium and magnesium, both of which aid in regulating muscle contractions, nerve function, blood pressure, and energy production. That’s a whole lot of power just from a few simple ingredients!
But that’s not all. The high potassium from the banana also helps with fluid retention (so you won’t feel overly bloated) and protects against strokes, kidney stones, and osteoporosis. The added benefit of magnesium also is an active vitamin in preventing heart disease. Plus – the flavor of this sorbet is so thick and creamy that you won’t believe you’re getting all those nutrients from such a yummy treat!
Ingredients:
- 3 frozen bananas
- 1 tsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed is better if you have it)
- 3 tbsp roasted and chopped almonds
- 1 tbsp goji berries (previously soaked)
Instructions:
- This is one of the easiest recipes to follow, even if you don’t know how to make sorbet. It does require a little extra prep, like pre-soaking your goji berries and freezing a couple of bananas in the freezer beforehand. Before tossing your bananas in the freezer, soak them in lemon juice for extra flavor.
- Take the bananas out after a few hours and place them in the food processor or juicer with a sorbet filter.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- After removing the sorbet, top it with a few chopped almonds and soaked goji berries, and you have yourself a healthy, delicious snack!
